Thanks for your visit to Winston's page
Hi Parker. Nice to see another English budgie here. Winston and Widget are now in a cage with a divider with a pair of American budgies on the other side. Winston and Widget look so much bigger!
We lost power for 4 days from Irene and there was flooding along the lake here. The flooding didn't affect our house because we are on a high hill overlooking the lake, but the houses along the lake were flooded and getting around was difficult because a lot of the roads were closed.
The birdies were in the dark for the 4 days and our house does not get a lot of natural sunlight because we are in the woods and there is a lot of shade. And during the storm, it was even darker. I started really geting worried about all the birds because they all thought it was night. Tessa was pretty active though. Winston and Widget's room gets the most sunlight so they were okay. But all the finches did not eat much and it sure was quiet in the house. We lost all the food in our fridge and freezer, but thank goodness that was all. A lot of other people had it much worse.
Glad to have the computer back and to get online again!
Here's a vote for you from the Dad of all the birds.
By the way, I really love Parker's colors!
