Hi Twissie
Flying by with a vote this Sunday evening! Things have been busy here, as always. And by the time the dogs are done with their blogs, there's never time for mine...hmph! So today I made them let me get on first. Well, I have been having a nice Summer. Mom is still working on training me, and I'm improving quite a bit. I still hiss and bite after being in my cage several hours without attention, and it takes awhile for mom to get me out of my cage without using gloves. After I'm out, I will let mom pet me usually without any biting, but no one can touch my head or neck just yet, and I don't cuddle yet either, although mom says she can see once I'm trained I'm going to be a cuddly bird, hehe. I do love going on shoulders now. I haven't gotten outside much since we've had some nasty weather lately, and now it's too cold for me in the 50's (though the dogs go swimming so often now, they are even went today - yuck!). Plus, mom has been getting me some new toys today. She brought home some treats, a new ladder and a new perch (that looks like a tree branch), since I chewed up my old ones, and she plans on going back to the pet store again tomorrow to get some other types of toys.
