Hi Bubbles, Hi Squeak
Sunny's dad here.
Please forgive me for taking so long to answer your blog. Things have been quite jumbled up, here. I have been trying to put the pieces back together. Also, please forgive me for using copy and paste to answer but with all the messages Sunny has received, I would never finish.
Thank you so very much for your condolances. The love shown for Sunny was overwhelming. Sunny was very much loved, here on the BC, as well as here at home. Sunny and I had a very special bond. She was my beautiful little girl and I loved her very very much. And her actions and body language showed that she love me very much, too. When she passed, it was devistating. I have still not recovered from the shock of her passing. The night she died I sat and held her for several hours. I was there for her and held her as she took her last breath. At that time, she opened her eyes, tryed to stand and made a very faint calling sound. She made the sound twice and then she was gone. To me, that was her way of saying "goodbye, I love you". The next day, I buried her next to Chilli.
All of you have been so wonderful and kind. Truely, there is no more wonderful place as the BC.
