For the Pois, it’s Hal to second on a hard line drive. But when WH Romeo serves up two strike outs and the fielding efforts of Wh Molly and Christine again get a play at first, it’s 3 OUTS.
Returning the favor, the Pois allow WH Taz a triple but shut this inning down with a strike out courtesy of Pois pitcher Hulk, a ground out put together by P’n’D short-stop Gizmo and first base Beaker and a fly ball caught by Hal for 3 OUTS.

The score remains unchanged.

Three empty swings start up the 3rd inning. 1st OUT.
Hulk’s single and Comet’s walk make it runners on 2/1. The next play becomes an out at first but Hulk’s made it to third base which is close enough to home when Gizmo crushes out a single of his own. Hulk scores.(+1)
A strike OUT leaves Comet and Gizmo stranded on base though.
A huge fly ball drops neatly into Pois right fielder Comet’s mitt for a first OUT.
It’s déjà vu when a second slugger hits a high flyer right to Pois Comet again. 2 OUTS.
Avoiding right field altogether, Rosie tucks one fast and low into left field and makes it around to second base.
Christine pulls out all the stops and puts the ball out, over and long gone: HOME RUN!!
The White Hawks are now on the board with (2).
A third fly ball, this one to Pois center fielder Sam, winds up the 3rd inning.
