For the Pois, it’s Comet to the plate and she connects for a double.
Ollie’s single moves Comet to third. A play at first makes a first OUT but Ollie has dashed off to 2nd. When Sam gets a walk out of pitcher Ruby, it’s BASES LOADED with Pois.
Hal pounds out a single, scoring Comet and putting the Pois on the board. (1)
Leah connects for a single base as well, bringing Ollie in home. (+1) The bases are STILL LOADED!
MM Ruby keeps the pitches in the zone and comes up with a strike out; 2nd OUT.
A pop fly, snagged by our BOTD Jasper, makes it 3 OUTS and those loaded bases become this inning’s leftovers.
A hit off of a Mighty Macaw bat whizzes right to short stop Gizmo who drills it to first base Beaker for the 1st OUT.
Three fast and poisonous ones off Hulk’s pitching wing and it’s a strike OUT; 2nd out.
Rio buries the ball far enough away to get to second.
Big Baby’s single moves Rio to third. When Jake gets a free pass to first, it’s BASES LOADED with big birds. There’s 2 outs on the counter...
A swing and a miss, a swing and a miss and well, you get the idea... 3 strikes... 3rd OUT. We’ve got more leftover loaded bases.

Top of the 3rd; Hulk’s single is all Da Pois can get out of the mighty defense of the Macaws.
And if defense was tight in the top of this inning, it’s even tighter in the second half;
3 macaws up, 3 macaws down!
