Good Evenin'! Good evening, Loudmouth! Are you getting ready to go to bed now? I sure am. I am very interested in getting a peach-face that I feel really sorry for at a pet shop. He is in a cage next to a conure and has no cage mate except a mirror. He come down to talk to me when I started to talk to him. I asked the store owner about him (or her, how do you tell?) and she said that he was hand-fed. So sad. How much were you? This peach-was $60.00. I really want him, and the finch that was there, and the quaker parakeet, and the conures, AND the big blue-and-gold macaw. I didn't think much of there diet, either. All they had to eat was pellets, and they didn't seem to like those, because a lot of them were thrown on the floor. And on the floor of the macaw, there was an empty yogurt container. I just want to go to all the pet stores in the world and rescue all those poor, poor, birdies that will other-wise en up in a bad home with people that just bought these birds on a whim. Whats the use, though? I should never go into pet stores because I just end up making friends with these birds and wanting to take them home. By the way, how many humans do you have in your "flock"? We have 5, including the "parronts"! Josiah is the littlest guy, at just turned 6. I don't like him at all. He is at the bottom of the pecking order. Thanks for reading this long post. It's the longest I've ever made. Peekaboo the Parrotlet ♥ |
