Hi Rufous,
I'm okay, thanks. Yes, that is a picture of me way way before the abuse and neglect from my previous owner. :(

The doctor didn't put me to sleep during the surgery, but it did hurt a little bit.

The lump on my nare was basically a pus formation kinda thing, well that's what the doctor said. He said the other doctor did a good job, but not..... that good. To put it nicely.

He wants me to come back again next saturday so he can check on my boo boo. He also wants to clean it out more after I heal a little.

Later on he said he would fill the gap with an acrylic type of stuff to reinforce my beak to try and prevent it from falling off and to make it stronger for me. Right now my beak is weak due to the gap and stuff.

He is leaving me on the antibiotics to try and control the infection/bacteria that is in my body. Mom does see signs of improvement which is very good.

I am more playful and mom requested a smaller needle so I got a 30 gauge instead of the other one which mom thought was kinda big for me and harder for her to inject in me.

Also, the doctor said that I would need lots of prayers to get through this really really big ordeal. Mom said no problem she will send out a request for prayers.

I will keep you all posted on my condition.

Mom says that I am such a fighter and has this spunk in me, mom feels that I am getting better and has the strongest will to live.

So, again I ask to please keep me in your prayers. I’m gonna need all that I can get.

Thank you and God Bless you all.

Hope you all have a nice sunny Sunday and here's a vote for you too. :)

Love & Hugs,

Sallykins & mama Ruthie
