Kaytee - Nature's Benefits

KAYTEE®, a leader in innovative pet bird and small animal nutrition, introduces Nature's Benefits® Daily Diets & Treats for pet birds. Each variety in the line is specially formulated with ingredients that appeal to the natural desires and address the unique nutritional needs of each bird. Made in the U.S.A., these all natural products are combinations of grains, fruits, nuts and nutritious clusters for foraging fun. Each bird diet includes nutritionally complete KAYTEE exact® pieces specifically formulated for each species. And all diets and treats contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives for the overall health and well-being of your bird.

The line includes a Parrot & Conure Daily Diet with banana chips, pine nuts, and peppers, a Cockatiel & Lovebird Daily Diet which includes Chia seeds, coconut chips, and sunflower seeds and a Parakeet Daily Diet with Chia seeds, papaya, and sunflower chips.

Each ingredient in Nature's Benefits foods was selected for the unique nutritional properties it offers pets. For example papaya contains papain enzymes that help aid in digestion for birds; coconut chips have lauric acid which improves feather quality; Chia seeds contain omega-3 fatty acids to promote heart health.

Nature's Benefits treat varieties include Bird Greens, Sugar Cane and Mini Nut Sticks for small and large birds. The all natural ingredients in each of the treats were selected for flavor and texture appeal birds love and for nutritional benefits important for your bird's overall health.

Nature's Benefits Daily Diets come in a 100% recyclable, natural box that also serves as entertainment for pets, as birds can use the box to satisfy their instinct to shred.

We've got 6 different types of birds, from conures to macaws, and the food was received in different ways. We were already feeding Kaytee products to the birds, so conversion was not that difficult, but a couple of the birds were resistant to the change in diet. I did like the fact that the product was natural, but after a couple of boxes of product, there appeared to be an awful lot of waste where the birds were concerned, so we went back to their original diet. We weigh their food daily to make sure they are getting appropriate nutrition, and with this product, it was difficult to tell whether or not they were getting what they needed or not.

My budgies and lovebirds already eat the pellets and dried greens. The pellet mix looks yummy enough for me to snack on!!
