Moving (Part 2)

Remember I told you I was going to be moving? I moved to North Jersey in August and I thought I would tell you about how I am doing.
Things are going pretty well. I have a great new room and got to pick out the colors and new furniture and stuff. There are some kids who live next door, so I have some people to hang out with.
But it has been really hard not being able to see Flip everyday. I couldn’t bring him with me. With moving, I am going to need to go to a new school and meet new friends, too, so I miss Flip even more!
One good thing is that every Tuesday until October, my grandma always stopped by so I got to see Flip, our new parrotlet named Isabella (I call her Izzy but my grandma calls her Bella!) and sometimes I even got to see our crazy Goffin’s cockatoo, Rabbit! Oh yeah, I got to see grandma, too!
I love it whenever I see Flip, but the visits don’t last long enough. Whenever Flip and Izzy come by, Flip sits on one shoulder and Izzy goes on the other. When Rabbit comes, she sits on my lap, and sometimes shows me her tricks. And it seems every time, she has a new trick, but you can’t ever expect to see her tricks without giving her a treat. She always needs one!
