Bird Toy Mace

We’re doing a product guide in the December 2009 issue, and I’ve been getting a lot of products in. We got a toy called “Baby Rattle” from 8 Beaks, and it’s massive. I’ve started calling it the “parrot mace” (the medieval mace, mind) because I seriously think I could swing this thing around and smack a person upside the head with it.

Here’s a picture for a size comparison; it’s next to a Bird Kabob from Wesco Pet, Inc.:

I think my conure Sean would try "accidently" dropping that on Lynyrd, the pesky lovebird.
