Wednesday, August 25, 2010 Second Day On The Road With Laura Bryna Well, it was rise and shine around 8 a.m. this morning, 'cause it was another day of adventure on our road trip. Maybe Grandpa and Mommy could wear some different clothes! On Day 2, we started off in Arkansas and we got to see lots of brightly colored trucks and really tall billboards, which only us feathered folk can see! We also saw lots of American flags. Thursday, August 26, 2010 Third Day On The Road With Laura Bryna We were up and at ’em around 8 a.m. We had our breakfast and got “on the road again.” Grandpa showed us the Cadillac Ranch again, except it was morning with the pretty sun rising to the sky. We saw those big windmills spinning in the middle of the plains of Texas (a.k.a., the Panhandle). Grandpa says they create lots of energy for the people in surrounding towns.! More>> |

Friday, August 27, 2010 Final Day On The Road With Laura Bryna So we began our final day around 8 A.M. We had some delicious breakfast and got on the road. "We’re going on a road trip!," our song for the trip. Grandpa wanted to get an early start, ’cause he wanted to show us the bbq place, Black Bart's Steakhouse, that he got dinner from the night before. Mama said it was sooo yummy. More>> |
