Jean Pattison, The African Queen
Jean Pattison, known as “The African Queen,” lives in Florida where she and her husband operate their breeding facility. Pattison has been breeding birds for more than 20 years. She specializes in African greys and Poicephalus species, including the un-Cape parrot. Pattison was one of the founding members of the Florida Federation of Aviculture, Inc. as well as the Organization of Professional Aviculturists. She frequently lectures and writes on avian topics. She is the co-author of “African Parrots” with Rick Jordan. |
