The Golden Triangle Parrot Club offers a place for parrot enthusiasts of Wellington County in Canada and the surrounding area to gather and discuss avian topics. It provides a fun yet informative environment that forms a balance between aviculturists and pet owners. The group aims to further its understanding of psittacines. It also supports psittacine conservation efforts.

The International Conure Association (ICA) studies conures in the wild and as companion birds. It supports conservation efforts of conure species, especially those threatened with extinction. ICA also supports conure bird breeders. Members receive a quarterly publication that addresses the care of conures.

The International Gloster Breeders Association is an organization that furthers the interest to the hobby of Gloster Canary breeding. Members gather together for events and activities that offer advice and guidance on all aspects of breeding. The organization puts together Year Books, twice a year that provide members with reports, information and show details. Members meet for an Annual General Meeting and the International Gloster Breeder Association show which features Gloster exhibits.

The International Parrotlet Society is a nonprofit corporation that promotes interest and education in parrotlets. This includes the care of parrotlets, reproduction and exhibition, as well as the preservation of parrotlets in captivity and the wild. IPA leaders formed a rescue committee to place unwanted and abused parrotlets in good homes.

I live in Kelowna BC Canada, I own a Indian Ringneck Parrakeet , I have been trying to locate a parrot club my area and can't seem to find one, I need some welcome helpful advise, Poppit is coming 3 yrs old, and he needs to be trained and I just don't have the knowledge or training that I feel I need to teach him properly. If anyone out there knows of a club in my area please let me know . thanks in advance for your help
