Not only did I win 2 copies of Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill at a Bird Fair, but, I only live 50 miles from San Francisco and have been to see the parrots in person. Driving up that hill and then hearing all the parrots chattering, I got goose bumps all over. I had gotten there just in time to see them wide awake and playing, after playtime they all took off and did a couple laps over the ocean. What a sight to see. This DVD is awesome!!!

PBS ran this last year. Amazing, sometimes sad, story of how the author stumbled into a love affair with birds and how they repaid his attention. His awe of the wild conures and his growing attachment to them are fun to watch. Great story.

I seen a bit of a review of this on At THE Movies with Ebert and Roeper when it first came out. They really liked it and recommended to see it. Never did but would like to. So this would be a terrific prize to win
