Budgies are so under-rated as pets! Maybe it is because of their price tag that people don't realize that they're as wonderful as they are. I got my Budgie as an unweaned baby and finished weaning him. I have other, much more expensive birds, but my (now) 4-yr.old Harley is the absolute love of my life! Best $8 I ever spent! He talks up a storm and loves to play. Recently, a professional photographer who often submits to BirdTalk did a photo session with him and the photos are GORGEOUS! It would be the thrill of a lifetime if I were to see one in BirdTalk!

i have three budgies and they all get along quite well.they all are wa different ages and at night, they hang upside-down from the top of the cage inside and twirl thier heads around.they always fly at night and then they do it again about an hour later. blueberry, twieker, and dexter are very playful budgies that will be around for a very long time.
