Lethargy

A sluggish bird may be very sick.

If your bird is lethargic (sluggish, inactive and/or resting on the bottom of its cage, usually accompanied by a fluffed-up appearance), it may be in the late stages of a serious illness. Seek veterinary assistance immediately.
