AFA National Convention focuses on Advances in Aviculture

Los Angeles hosts this year’s aviculture convention

American Federation of AvicultureThe 33rd Annual American Federation of Aviculture, Inc. Convention takes place August 22 to 25, 2007 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel in Los Angeles. The 2007 focus is on “Advancement in Aviculture.”

The convention’s presentations include: studies and conservation projects, bird species profiles and other informative topics for the aviculturist. Topics also cover general interest topics concerning both wild and companion parrots.

An off-site event of a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Los Angeles Zoo’s bird department is also planned, in addition to other fun events like the Super 8 Raffle, silent auction and daily raffles.
