BirdChannel.com editors will demonstrate how to prepare BIRD TALK’s “5-Step Bird Mix” at America’s Family Pet Expo this weekend at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Demonstrations will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 11 to April 13, 2008 in Building 10 on the DOG FANCY Stage of Adoptable Darlings.

Editors from DogChannel.com and CatChannel.com will also host cooking demonstrations on stage. Six winners will be chosen at random to receive a gift basket courtesy of CatChannel.com, DogChannel.com and Birdchannel.com.

DOG FANCY magazine will host a “Parade of Adoptable Darlings” fashion show each day for all of the canine fashion fans at the American Family Pet Expo.

Admission prices are as follows: General Admission — $12; Seniors 60 & over — $10; Children 6-12 — $6; Children 5-years-old and younger — free.

The recipe for BIRD TALK’s “5-Step Bird Mix” was first published in the January 2008 issue of BIRD TALK magazine.

You should come down to Hawaii and hold a convention, since the pet expo is already done. I think it would be nice to go to a bird convention and learn about birds and see other stuff.
