I love candles. Just like pillows, I can never get enough. Of course, I keep the candles away from Carlisle my cockatiel and Deacon my blue-headed Pionus for safety reasons. (See bird air tips here.) However, I still enjoy them in the dining room, the bathroom, my kitchen and my patio. It just wouldn’t be my house if some of the candle holders weren’t bird themed.

These are just a few of them, plus a pretty bird matchbox that I also bought. If you are like me and bird-themed candles and holders always pique your interest, here are 7 great candles and holders that would look great in anyone’s home, bird lover or not!

1) Parrots always make a statement and grab the attention of everyone in the room, and this parrot-themed iron candle holder is no exception.

Find it at Iron Accent here or similar one at Front Gate here.

2) I am a fan of glass candle holders as they go well in any room and with all styles. This cute Uccelli Bird Candle Holder features two little glass birds.

Find it here.

3) Looking more for wax creation than candle? I love this pink parrot by Sobeit. You can buy it from here.

4) Going for high style porcelain parrot candles? Well you’ll love the Lladro’ parrot party collection.  This high style comes with a higher price tag.

Find it here.

5) Love this one so much I am going to have buy a few! Birthdays will never be the same again for bird lovers with this adorable blue bird birthday candle holder.

Find it here.

6) Have more tropical décor? Like bright colors? Check out this wooden enamel tea light candle holder, which has space for three tea lights, all surrounded by macaws. And Calypso Parrot offers it for a great price.

Get it here.

7) For seashore décor, you can’t go wrong with these three parrot jar candles that come in a pretty blue rack. Good price, but only a few left on

Get it here.

Read the title, it specifically states not to have the candles in your bird's room.

Reading comprehension is piss poor these days.

Just don't light them.

These are exceptional pieces. BUT! How can you promote them without being explicit about the deathly consequences for all the birds in your house and not list the candles that are safe?
