Become A Bird-Sitter

Follow these steps to get your bird-sitting business off the ground

“The pet sitter took one look at the bird, and said the job was beyond her,” said a friend after interviewing a new pet sitter for her two dogs and caique. “She was totally unfamiliar with birds and didn’t want the job.” Birds require some degree of specialized care — beyond what a cat-and-dog pet sitter can handle. If you’ve already swapped bird sitting services with a friend, and it’s been such a great experience, maybe you’d like to try it as a business.
