Bird owners should shower all their pet birds with affection equallyFrodo was a wonderful companion. An only bird, the little hand-fed gray cockatiel was the source of adoration for a married couple in their late twenties. The only other non-human in the home was Lisa, an elderly sheltie that did not mind the attention they showered upon the bird.


Frodo, a natural cuddler, blossomed under the love he received. His entire life with the couple had been spent in this manner, so there was absolutely no reason why he would ever think things would change. How could he possibly know his very perfection as a companion would lead to exactly that?
