Play is the way to build a lifelong relationship with your parrot

A parrot trustingly plays with his ownerWe have all read how parrots need a variety of toys and, for at least the last few years, we have been encouraged to provide foraging toys for our companion parrots. However, as valid as these ideas are, they aren’t the most important concept in regard to parrots and play.

There is nothing more essential to companion parrots than interactive play with the people in their lives. Not only is playing together good for our parrots, it is also good for us.
