When exploring different ways to offer companion parrots tactile enrichment, the first idea that comes to mind is toys. Toys are essential to an enrichment program, but that isn’t where the story ends. Our parrots are extremely tactile creatures. They use their tongues, beaks, feet and feathers to learn about their environment. We need to offer our birds a wide variety of tactileopportunities to investigate and explore.
