Celebrate bird moms this month

Calling All Bird Moms!
Submit photos of you and your pet bird for Mother's Day.

Bird Moms – You likely won’t get a piece of macaroni art (too delicious to stick on paper) or an indulgent pedicure outing for two (unless you call going to the veterinarian’s office an indulgent outing) from your pet parrot this Mother’s Day. Why not treat yourself to the Birdchannel.com Mother’s Day contest instead? Share a photo of you and your bird and tell us the best thing about being a bird “mom.” BirdChannel.com will feature your photos and stories over the month of May.

Upload your comments and photos from May 1 through May 23, 2010; then come back during the last week of May to vote on a winner for the contest (no more entries will be accepted once voting begins). Voting runs from May 24 through May 31. The winner will be posted in the second week of June.

The winner will receive 1,000 Bird eClub points and a Birds USA 2010.

Good luck, and thank you for participating in our Calling All Bird Moms contest.

I am at least 13 years old.
