Will your bird get a holiday gift this year?

Show us your birdie holiday spirit

Now’s your chance to show off a holiday stocking or ornament you created for your pet bird or your entire flock! Bought a stocking that you attached a budgie silhouette to or an ornament that you painted your conure’s face on? How about a stocking you knitted a cockatiel image into or even a homemade ornament made from cardboard or paper that your bird can “help decorate”? That’s what we want to see. Send us a photo of your creation, and show the world your talent and enthusiasm for your pet.

The contest runs through December 31, 2009. The editors will review the entries and select one winner by January 11, 2010. Feel free to add a note about what inspired you to make the holiday craft for your pet or how you made it.

The winner will receive 1,000 Bird eClub points and his or her choice of the 2010 issue of Birds USA magazine. Good luck, and thank you for participating in our Holiday Birdie Crafts contest!

(Note: Only the Bird’s Name, species, photo and notes/instructions will appear on the website)
