Eclectus – Rules To Live By

What have you heard about Eclectus parrots? That they are beautiful but quiet, perhaps a little dull? That they are sedentary — real perch potatoes? That they are an easy parrot to own?

By Elise Kaplan

Nevertheless, a well-adjusted Eclectus is much more than just a pretty face. These birds possess intelligence, thoughtfulness and a surprising amount of energy. Those who know Eclectus vouch for these birds’ intelligence and liveliness — provided owners go the extra mile to provide a stimulating, healthy environment and meet their special needs.

Meet Their Wild Side
