Announcing the winner of the Why I'm Thankful for My Bird Contest.

Keeya Tucson, a sun conure
2009 Why I'm Thankful Winner

Name: Keeya Tucson
Species: Sun Conure

Description:
I'm thankful for my Sun Conure, Keeya Tucson because he is always so happy to see me each morning. He waits for his morning beak rub and our "Good Morning" conversations while I'm uncovering the other birdies. He is such a quiet bird for a sun conure. He lets me know when it's close to dinner time.I know he is looking forward to our own snuggle time when dinner is over. He makes sure I end my busy day "on time" and I can unwind with him as he has his snack and we watch TV together every single night. It's the best time of day for me. If it weren't for him I'd still be busy working. I can't disappoint my little guy so we never miss a night of our time together on the couch. I've had my little Keeya Tucson since he was just 9 weeks old. He is definately my little boy!
