Those who live with dogs and cats are somewhat intuitive in understanding their pets’ needs and behavior. Perhaps it is because these animals are truly domesticated, and we have kept them as pets for hundreds of years.

The behavior of companion parrots, on the other hand, is much more difficult to understand because they are still instinctively wild birds with many natural wild responses to life in our living rooms. I believe that having a successful relationship with a parrot requires both intuition and an insatiable quest for information. Here are 10 mistakes to avoid.
