Cockatiels and fish: the main concern with this matchup is a curious cockatiel could fall into the tank and drown. A sad scenario, but one that does happen. Play it safe – keep your fish tank covered at all times. Once this hazard is taken care of, your cockatiel might get a kick out of watching the fish float by. A cockatiel can be quite entertained with aquarium fish.

When considering adding to your pet family, keep in mind how a new addition will be perceived by your cockatiel. Never force your cockatiel to interact with a pet he appears to be afraid of, no matter how sincere the intent might be. Curious about how your cockatiel might matchup with other pets?
