Watching the news these past few days about the horrible fires in Southern California, the first thing I though of was "I hope shelters open up their doors to pets as well." It's great to see that happening, as last night's news showed a Red-Bellied Parrot safe at Qualcom Stadium! It's great to see shelters realizing pets are family, too!
