If your parrot's mouth get it in trouble, consider sharing your parrot or your experiences with others. A new multimedia software CD_ROM program about talking parrots is in development. CD producer Richard Rasmussen is seeking donations of parrot video clips, sound clips, photographs and stories for the project. In return, you'll receive credit and a free copy of the program. Rasmussen suggests sending your materials via the United States Postal Service's priority mail. Videos should be on VHS tape and sounds on cassette tape. Photos should be flat and n print form or on Photo Disk. All materials should be marked with your name and contact information, as well as the names and species depicted. The CD program will be entertaining as well as educational. The topics of bird care, parrot types and their talking abilities, suggestion for encouraging birds to talk and a resources directory will be included.
