Houston Bird Fest

The proceeds of this educational seminar benefit research, parrot rescue and conservation organizations.

The nonprofit National Parrot Rescue & Preservation Foundation, will hold its annual Parrot Festival 2001 in Houston, Texas, January 26, 27 and 28. Featured speakers will include Sally Blanchard, Mattie Sue Athan, Benny Gallaway, Dr. David Phalen, Dianalee Deter, Natasha Schischakin, Phoebe Linden and Dr. Natalie Antinoff. The proceeds of this educational seminar benefit research, parrot rescue and conservation organizations. In addition to hosting vendors from around the country selling parrot-related merchandise, the festival offers fun activities such as a banquet/gala and Superbowl party.
