To celebrate its move to a new 10,000-square-foot location, Todd Marcus Birds Exotic in Delran, New Jersey is hosting a weekend-long Grand Opening Bash on August 26 and 27, 2006, where “Swoop,” the Philadelphia Eagles mascot, is scheduled to appear.
The event is open to the public from 10 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, August 26 and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, August 27. Various activities are scheduled throughout the weekend, including clowns, face painting, balloon animal creations and juggling.
Those in attendance can also watch a professional trick bird show and get their photographs taken with their birds. Free food and drinks will be provided.
