Smaller than the large macaws by a few inches and a few hundred grams, the mini-macaws offer that larger-than-life macaw behavior in a smaller body. They’re friendly, curious and playful – oh, and they make a lot of noise! An active household able to incorporate a pet bird into its daily activities makes the best home for a mini-macaw. Because of their active nature, they’ll push your limits if you let them. A well-adjusted bird is unlikely to excessively bite or scream.
