Jewelry Safety Tips
1. Real sterling silver and gold jewelry is not harmful to birds. Although it is nontoxic, do not allow your bird to play with jewelry, because it might ingest small pieces.
2. Avoid costume jewelry that often contains harmful toxins, such as lead.
3. Avoid injuries from pins and other sharp points or pieces that may break off.
