Find Accommodations For You & Your Bird

Check in carefree

A variety of hotels accept birds as guests, so you can take your pet along on your next trip, although it might cost you a small fee. In general, the following chains are bird-friendly, but it often varies by individual hotel so call ahead.

  • Motel 6
  • Red Roof Inns
  • Studio 6
  • Holiday Inn
  • Radisson
  • Doubletree
  • Embassy Suites

(Know of another pet-friendly hotel chain? Let us know by e-mailing your tip to birdtalk@bowtieinc.com.)

Many independent hotels also allow birds to stay in your room. Try some of these pet-specific pet travel sites for further research.

Tried to book a room at the Westchester Marriott and was told they accept cats and dogs, but no parrots!

Unless our Dogs and Bird are allowed we don't vacation. Last October we rented a beautiful cabin in Cherry Log, Ga. All were welcome we had a great time. We rented through Slidingrockcabins.com If you seriously want to take your children of fur or feathers along I suggest you visit. Please be advised some of the cabin are remote.
