VIDEO: Watch Where You Step, Baby Bird!

Have you ever been too focused on capturing a cute bird video, and didn't notice the accident waiting to happen?

BirdChannel Editors

Accidents happen, especially for clumsy baby parrots like the cockatoo in this video. Have you ever been so focused on trying to capture something your bird was doing on camera that you didn’t notice until it was too late that your pet bird might be headed for an accident?

If something like this does happen, the first thing to check for is bleeding. Once you get any bleeding under control, you'll want to take your bird to the veterinarian. It can be hard to tell if a bird has broken something, and in rare cases, your bird might need a blood transfusion.

Have fun taking your bird videos, but remember to keep an eye out for table edges!
