Bird Screaming Behavior Webinar

Watch this webinar to get helpful tips on managing bird screaming behavior.

The editors of BirdChannel.com present the first on-demand webinar, Bird Behavior: Screaming. This webinar offers tips and advice to help bird owners prevent and reduce excessive vocalizations and/or screaming in their pet birds. The editors of BirdChannel.com invited an expert panel to help define what is normal screaming, to offer ways to redirect excessive vocalizations into more positive behaviors and to address some of the common scenarios bird owners experience in regard to parrot noise.

The webinar includes panelists: Sally Blanchard, a pioneering bird behavior expert for more than 30 years from Loveland, CO; and Terry and Shari Beaudoin, owners of Parrot Island, Inc., in Minneapolis, MN, Certified Parrot Behavior Consultants with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. All panelists are contributing BIRD TALK and BirdChannel.com writers.

We are inexperienced bird owner. We purchased our large siae cockatoo from a breeder 7 months ago. Our Bobo is two years old only and we are teaching her simple words. She is fast in picking up vocab but screams very often. How to manage it better?

My Grey never screams. My cockatoo, on the other hand, does morning & evening screaming and will scream when she sees a large bird outside. She will scream for the attention of those that will give in to her screaming. So very smart!
