Bird Screaming Behavior Webinar

Watch this webinar to get helpful tips on managing bird screaming behavior.

The editors of BirdChannel.com present the first on-demand webinar, Bird Behavior: Screaming. This webinar offers tips and advice to help bird owners prevent and reduce excessive vocalizations and/or screaming in their pet birds. The editors of BirdChannel.com invited an expert panel to help define what is normal screaming, to offer ways to channel excessive vocalizations into more positive behaviors and to address some of the common scenarios bird owners experience in regard to parrot noise.

The webinar includes panelists: Sally Blanchard, a pioneering bird behavior expert for more than 30 years from Loveland, CO; and Terry and Shari Beaudoin, owners of Parrot Island, Inc., in Minneapolis, MN, Certified Parrot Behavior Consultants with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. All panelists are contributing BIRD TALK and BirdChannel.com writers.

GREAT information! I would expect nothing less from Terry, Shari and Sally; the best in the business!!! As a seasoned bird owner (I must say; Terry and Shari were the first who taught me the "correct" ways to work with my flock back in 2001, my "mentors'); it never hurts to re-visit topics like this on a regular basis. The more we learn; the healthier; more stimulated, happier life we are able to provide for our precious flock. After all; unlike parrots in the wild; our flock is "completely" dependant on US for thier survival. Captive birds have not been taught how to survive on thier own. We are litterally responsible wheather the birds live happily or get sick and die. Its totally up to us!!

To all of you out there: Keep Learning!!! You can never learn enough! Be sure your information comes from reputable, creditable sources.
