Interview with Bird Conservation Biologist Carl Jones

BirdChannel sat down with Carl Jones of the Durrell Widlife Conservation Trust, to discuss his work with the critically endangered echo parakeet.

At the Parrots International Symposium, held June 21 to 22 in Long Beach, California, Carl Jones gave a talk entitled, "Echos in the Forest: The Rescue of a Critically  Endangered Species, the echo parakeet Psittacula eques and its long-term conservation management." Carl Jones is a conservation biologist that has worked on the echo parakeet's island home of Mauritius since 1979. BirdChannel sat down with Jones to learn more about him and his work.
