VIDEO: Lorikeets, Corellas & Kookaburras, Oh My!

Lorikeets go crazy over some seeds; unfazed kookaburra just hangs out. Some corellas make an appearance. It's just another day in Australia.

Jessica Pineda

I came across this video by accident, and while there's a lot of things that bother me (should lorikeets being eating what looks like sunflower seeds?), there's just so much that I love. Watching these lorikeets bounce around, fly here and there, sneak around the kookaburra (who, for the most part, doesn't seem to mind the craziness around it), and interact with each other ... It's a glimpse of birds I don't get to see often, and I loved it.

Full warning: The birds tease each other, and the kookaburra does occasionally snap at the lorikeets. Everyone seems to be having a good time though.
