Is your bird a bather like this bird? How does your bird like to take a bath?

With summer here, there's nothing quite like a bird bath to help cool down.

What's your bird's bathing style? In the sink like this lovebird? Rolling around in some wet leaves? A pan of cool water? Or do you bring your bird into the shower? Let me know in the comments!

My Quakers love to get in their water dishes. I know that they are up to something when they're doing a really cute not noisy, kind of squawk. Of the two, one walks in and out of his water dish. The other, sometimes likes when I hold him at the sink near the water faucet with a low flow of water and he be saying, "Water, water" and start to bob his head. Other times, I place a small bowl in their cages and they get in the bowls and go for a dip. When they're really noisy, I mist them.
