A v4u. I see you've been with Bird Channel for a while. I have been a little ove a month now. Mom is learning from other amazon's. We have never been around other people with birds, so with Bird Channel mom is learning special things only Amazons appricate.I see chicken bones are a favorite of mine also, mom call's me cannable though. Just comming in for a visit. I"m sorry you've had so many homes. I'm at my 4th home too so understand how you feel. The first home was very short and the second was at a rescue center. the third was a loving home, but they couldn't keep me. I'm at my 4th and final home.

stinky birdy
yep amazons are smelly lil guys, more so than my quakers, hahaha...hey question...i keep reading that amazons that are feeling aggressive or may want to bite exhibit the eye pinning, tail fanning and a growl. I have an orange wing that sometimes does that when i go up to her, she usually doesnt bite, even though she has her moody days like anyone else....but she usually bows her head and does that classic orange wing head feather fluffin, when she wants a head scratch. is there any other way to interpret this behavior? she is a young one so i am thinking that means she is over excited or just wanting to show me what a spectacle she is! Just want to take as many precations as needed to keep my knuckes from being bloodied, I am a cello player!!! Any clues? you got a vote from me!Come visit me, Pico, Lydia & Zowie.

I'm glad you finally found a good permanent home to eat peanut butter in! You live not to far away from me actually, youre a 'beach bird' from gulf breeze, guess that makes me a country bird from pace(pea ridge actually), I do like listening to country music. my mom just laughs at me when she covers me up at night, i always tell her oh well what ever. last night i decided i would tell her i loved her. she lifted the cover and told me she loved me to. she put the cover back down and i told her oh well what ever. she still got a good laugh.Come visit me, CODY, SONNY BOY, SAVANNAH, CAPT. daddys boy
i have become a real daddys boy. i love to sit on his shoulder or on the back of the couch and pick his eyebrows his hair or his ears. i whisper in his ear all the time. he feeds me pizza and all kinds of good stuff that he eats. my mom keeps me clean and my cage clean and gives me good pellets and nuts and fruit but dad gives me the best stuff, pizza, chicken, green beans. he is my daddy. i love my daddy.Come visit me, CODY, SONNY BOY, SAVANNAH, CAPT. Hello Sonny Boy
I am in my final home now too. I dont know how many homes I have had or how old I am. Mom knows I have been in at least 2 other homes. I'm a green-cheeked amazon. I see that you are doing stuff from your past. My past wasn't a good one. I was in a way too small and dirty cage with no toys, and I wasn't fed bird food, just human food. Mom got me a really big cage though and she bought me new toys. I'm not sure what I think of any of them yet though. It's been about 4 1/2 months since I have been here. I just love my mom but so far that about it. I've gotten kinda used to dad. I did let him pet me yesterday. normally I try to bite him. My name was Pete but every time mom said it or anyone else, I would get really low and start to shake. Sometimes I would start to squawk or bite. So mom changed my name to Chester. So far I have made lots of new improvements. I dont really talk but I do say pretty bird but I use it as a swear word, so mom tries not to say it. Mom tries her hardest to not have anything remind me of my old home. The problem is she doesn't know a lot about my past though so she doesn't knwo what reminds me of it. How our you adjusting to so many different homes? Mom said she really wants a double yellow head. We gave you a vote today.Come visit me, Chester.
