Hello from Hami and friends.. Thanks for visiting me! I think you are absolutely beautiful! Your mom should definately get a Sun Conure, don't believe the hype, mom.. Suns are wonderful birds that deserve wonderful owners like your mom. As far as being as loud as you, I don't think a Sun could talk loud enough to match your amazing skills, so mom probably wouldn't even be phased by a Sun. I love your picture! I just moved in a week and a half ago. When I met the dog I waved to her with my wing and said "Hi dog" in my sweetest voice to her. I love Rawlie! We have a big Macaw and she lets me ride around on her back, saves me the time from walking everywhere lol You are so pretty, and I can see who is the boss at your home. Hi I don't care for my Moms dogs either. But I love to steal thier toys. I get to go out all the time and now that its warmer i get to go outside and play. I have my wings clipped so its no biggie. I don't ever go far from Mom anyway. If she gets even a few feet away in the house even i try to get to her no matter what. Heres a vote for you pretty bird!! Hi there, What a great picture! I too handfed the Scarlett and the Catalina, my Blue and Gold was already grown, he was the first Macaw I got. It's the other way around at my house where the toys are concerned. The dogs go into the Macaw room to check to see what was thrown on the floor and to get the Macaws' toys to chew on. Cheez cracker huh, well get them some always looking for something new for them to eat besides for their fruit and veggies and whole nuts they love Oreweat Health Nut Bread, they love Fritos, but that is way too much salt. Is your blue and gold a talker? Mine is but the best talker is the Catalina they do talk in phrases, like "five o'clock time for a drink", uh oh, are you o.k." Macaws Rule! Hi Oregon Bird! Thanks for visiting me, Rawlie. My mommy is so glad she went all the way to Colorado to get me. I had fun flying back to Oregon on the plane. Mommy had a special carrier for me that looked like a duffle bag. I would make funny noises, whistle or say hello and people would look at mom like she did it. It was funny. My mom said she has flown a lot but it was never as fun as when she flew with me. She said she had to fly when she lived in Alaska. She lived there for a year, working in Talkeetna in 2004. She liked it there but is happier in Ashland. What vet does your mom prefer? My vet was Dr. Knox in Ashland, but he became allergic to birds, so now our vet is Dr. Amy Smith at Orchard Hill Vet Hospital in Medford. Thanks again for writing to me. Beautiful Rawlie! Oh Rawlie...you are such a pretty bird! And lucky too! I must agree that dog toys are pretty interesting. My birds love them too.
