I'm so sorry you thought your weren't appreciated. You really are! Please fly by and see me. Todays are: Garden Sorrel (Rumex acetosa) - Sorrel flowers are tart, lemon tasting. So use like a lemon: on pizza, a salad topping, in sauces, over cucumber salads. Johnny-Jump-Up- s (Viola tricolor) - Lovely yellow, white and purple blooms have a mild wintergreen flavor and can be used in salads, to decorate cakes, or served with soft cheese. They are also a great addition to drinks, soups, desserts or salads. Hi Pickles Punkin here. My quest is to follow Queen Falco to the castle as BOTM. But I need lots more votes Could you please support me each day? I'm also letting everybird know some flowers that's safe to EAT! There's so many different flowers that I can put 2-3 up sometimes. hehehe Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) - Sweet honey flavor. Only the flowers are edible. NOTE: Berries are highly poisonous - Do not eat them! Primrose (Primula vulgaris) - Also know as Cowslip. This flower is colorful with a sweet, but bland taste. Add to salads, pickle the flower buds, cook as a vegetable, or ferment into a wine. UPDATE ON BIRD: SHE CAME HOME YESTERDAY AND THERE WAS NO IMPROVEMENT. SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BE TOUCHED BECAUSE OF ALL THE NEEDLES FOR BLOOD AND X-RAYS AND STUFF. THIS MORNING HER LEFT FOOT IS USABLE!!!! NEARLY BACK TO NORMAL. WE ARE SOOOOOO HAPPY. MOM'S STILL GONNA GIVE HER SOME PAIN MEDS THOUGH. I CAN'T THANK EVERYBIRD ENOUGH FOR THEIR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS OF OUR FOSTER FISTER.
