Early Birdy and Earl the Pearl 5 years old M African Grey seems to be apples so far not sure yet,still exploring none yet not sure yet, but she never walks by me without saying something or scratching my head using foot to dig like a chicken [looks as if on a treadmill]. The Earl(y) bird catches the worm. Wake up everybirdy!.

...I'm Arthur Alex's new/old little sister! After a long forced separation, my precious brother and I are together again and we are living in a birdie paradise! We whistle and chirp at each other and we rarely take our eyes off of each other, and Jenny Lynn has accepted me into her fold just as she did Arthur, she is the sweetest bird we have ever been around! This is my eighth day living inn the Dallas home, and already my dad has built enough trust in me that I no longer have to be in lock down unless he runs o the store! I get to stay out all day and all night, and Jen and Christy virtually never have top be locked up! I don't talk, but Arthur talks enough for both of us, and I heard that you, Mr Earl, can really chat up a storm! Nice to meet you Grey boys, and please give my love to your mom and dad and the rest of your growing flock, see ya soon...

Hello Earl the Grey
It's Sheba, come by to leave a greeting so that you'll know you've been thought of this day. I'm hoping all is well with you and your flock and family. Haven't got any complaints on this end, for the most part. There could always be more sunflower seeds in the dish and fewer stupid foraging toys to have to wrangle for a measly treat but hey, if those are the extent of my troubles, I have to admit Life is Good.

It's been a nice summer thus far with lots of opportunities for outdoor time in my remodeled parrot pen. (I don't think I even have a photo of the thing on my page. There are a couple of pictures of me while in it but that's about it.) Wonder what's new with you. I'm sure you're brimming to overflowing with stories about your latest antics and perfect-timing lines of intelligence. Believe it or not, little by little, I am finally adding new words to my vocabulary. I have been resistant to that temptation now for some six years but in recent weeks I've been caught saying things that are definitely trademark family lines. I'm getting soft in my advancing years!

I thought I was seeing things when I saw your name on my page, how absolutely wonderful to hear from you again! Is it safe to assume that some of the family personal problems created by Miss WHN, have started to resolve themselves a little bit! My dad says that once a person develops and evil attitude, they can never be trusted again, a simple rule of thumb would be, you can change a Tiger, but you can't change a Tigers stripes! How is big Max and Sam doing, and has that handsome green brother of yours completely taken over your dad yet! How is mom's back, is she sleeping better these days! We are all doing great, but we don't write as many notes as we used to, dad has been doing yard work and still making lots of toys, he says it's a labor of love! Hello my dear friend, it was so good to hear from you, if in fact that is you! If this is not the Earl Mixon that we on BC have come to lover and adore, then you better tell me who you are and what have you done with my Earl! I am not an aggressive or violent bird, but my sister Jen is my cage mate and new best friend, and she has got no sense of humor at all, LOL! As I started to write this note to you, it was with a little tear in my eye, I could not help but notice that the last birdson that graced your page with his presence, was our little neighbor boy and dear family friend, Mr Turk, may God rest his soul, he is still sorely missed! Needless to say we all love your new brother, he so reminds me of Jen Lynn's old and dear friend Mr Gus, Gus and his momma are definitly some of the good guys! So sorry for Mr Brian, if he didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all, eventually he'll get that negative person removed from his life, and perhaps have at least an even chance to start his life again with out all the BS! My dad always says that no one human being has the right to take the happiness away from another, only our Lord can do that, and of course he never would! I was reading over Christy's shoulder this morning, a few lines from Max's note, boy those Macaws can sure talk can't they! What I want to mention to you, is that there are two new CAGs that have not been introduced to all of us yet, and it makes me excited to know that there are more of us coming! I'm not at liberty yto discuss all the details yet, but I think there is one at the K Kritter Korral, and just maybe Romeo's home has become a little bit Greyer every since his sweeet mom went to the bird fair on Saturday! I wish you could go tell Romey about what your daddy does to get you to say new words and sounds, Baby Grey Bruce is very young, and what a gorgeous animal, take a minute and go find out for yourself! Mr Earl, how very nice to actually get a note from you, I speak Grey and won't need a translator to read it, LOL! With Max as senior bird, I'm sure that rank has it's privleges, I live with that scenario with Christy and Jenny Lynn, but dad is very fair with us and I get my share of puter time with my friends! I know your mom and dad have been very busy with home projects this Summer, and there is still family functions that need their attention, so we fully understand about time management! We hope some of the crisis in Texas has partially resolved itself, your sweet mom has enough on her mind to concern herself with! The visit to the McZoo went so well that I'm going back again this week, and this time the girls are coming along! Christy just loves the sun and pretty much stays off to herself or sits with Rainbow, and Jenny and Alfie will be playing together like always, and I just like hanging out with other Grey parrots! Kelly don't have much to do with me, but Miss Sheba and I get along just fine (what a fox she is), I could get used to hanging out with her! HELLO MR EARL-Arthur with a vote for you today
You need not ever apologize for not being on the BC a lot, my dad wouldn't be either if he still had the strength and stamina to do the things he used to do! Now that his life has slowed down, much to his dismay, he has more time to hang out on BC and blog our friends, but even that wears him out somtimes! He said he had a great father's day, he talked to his son and grand children in Seattle and the local daughter come over and took him out to dinner, and I think he likes her better than us birds, he describes her as his favorite human being! I in fact have been to the Vet for a complete exam and beak, wings, and nails grooming, it had been nearly 5 years, and I'm proud to say I am perfectly healthy, and the perfect average weight, my instructions are to keep on keeping on! My dad plays with me every day at least once or twice, and many days more than that for hours at a time, I can't remember ever being this happy before although at one time in my life, I'm sure I was, or I wouldn't be the happy bird I am today! It's good that you get along with the granddaughter, it is not impossible that you could live with her someday! I must rush off Early Bird, dad has to take my sister Christy to the Vet for a check-up and grooming, Jen and I had ours two weeks ago, have a nice day my friend, say hi to big Max and Sam, and of course your fab momma, see ya next time...With lots of love for you dear friend, Arthur Dallas

It is with great pleasure I greet you and thank you for the wonderfully warm welcome to the BC you have extended to me, I have heard so much about you, all good, I'll assure you! I will need you to please explain to me how you got to be so handsome in one year, it must be the good gene pool, you inherited from your real mom and dad! As far as making friends, I have met so many already, it is beyond description, I am goimg to really like it here on the BC, there are Greys coming to visit me from all over the country, it makes me feel very special! Earl, most folks have inside of them a list of things in their minds that is their favorite things maybe favorite ice cream, perhaps color, or food, but dad is reluctant to say he has a favorite bird because he loves them all equally, and to imply a favorite would be to say another species is second best, and he would never do that, but he whispered in my ear that he is very partial to the parrots of the Grey persuasion, and you and I and your bro Sam, fit nicely into that category! I also must address the generous donation made by your wonderful Mom and Dad on my behalf to sponsor a parrot at the fabulous Oasis Sanctuary, run by Sybyl Erdan, it is an honor that I most likely will never be able to top, it is thoughtful love personified, tell your parronts to stand up and take a bow, the Lord is watching!!
Your story of your run way take off from your mom's bed, and landing in the thrown room is quite a coincidence, because I did very much the same on dad's birthday when Miss sheba was here, truthfully nobody really knew if I could fly after being cage bound for 5 years, when dad was coaxing me out, I decided to taste his finger and give them their answer! I flew like a rocket and landed in the bath room right next to the well known porcelin thrown, and like you, fortunately I didn't take the plunge either, now all doors are closed, when my cage door is open, LOL! Dad told me after chatting with your delightful mom this morning, that she is every bit as nice on the phone as she is on the BC and e-mail, and loved her charming accent, a little French like perhaps, and also don't concern yourself with the things our humans do, it is not really a lot different than what we would be doing to our nests if we lived in the wild. constantly changing and updating and striving to make things better, that's called human nature, be glad you don't have it! I must run my new friend, please say hi to Max and Sam, and give your mom and dad the biggest hug you got for me, they are truly jewels, but then you already know that, see ya later...King Arthur Dallas

I see you visited my new friend Rosco, Mom met his Mom via a bird site as she was looking for cage for her new soon to be baby Caique. We had a spare just sitting here and turned out it was perfect for her new baby so we gave it to them. They live fairly close and we were very excited to meet bird lovers that close to us. His mom also works in our Vet's office so I got the inside scoop on all the goings on there so next time I go I'll see Roscoe's Mom and can get a hug..Have a good day my dear friend and get that beautiful red hiney outside and enjoy this beautiful day God had granted us..See you soon, give everyone at your house a big hug and high five from Romey

OK young man, how dare you come to my page and not even stick around long enough to break bread with us and maybe have a spot of Orange Juice or Pomegranate Juice, there will always be room for you at our perch! Hi handsome Grey parrot, at least that's what some in our home thinks of you Grey parrots, while you lack the flashy bright coloratiom of some birds, you are a prime example of why nobirdy should judge a book by its cover, because we know for a fact (we have proof) that under the plain Grey wrapping with a bright red ribbon, beats a heart of gold and a brain unmatched by any other so called dumb animal on God's green earth! How is my handsome friend? Guess what? I went to visit the lady that mom got me from yesterday. I was her favorite grey and she cried when she held me. She missed me. Just stopping by to let you know I have been thinking about you. Mom took some new pics of me that are on here, and even more she hasn't downloaded yet. I can't wait for you to see them! I'm so happy in my new home. And giddy that I may have captured your heart. Gabby is Giddy in love.(heehee) Mom has still been working a lot of long hours and we haven’t been able to get on the computer to talk to our friends. Plus, it’s downstairs now, so I can’t escape and log on myself. Ball practice will be coming soon! And I’m getting ready exercising in my cage while mom works. Mommy & Daddy would like thank all our BC friends & family for the wonderful donations for us. Daddy is out of work because he hurt his leg and now needs knee surgery, and Mom & Dad have been worried about how they are going to feed us all birds without any income until EDD/SDI starts paying Daddy for lost of pay which is taking a long long time. We are so sorry we let your hatchday go by unnoticed, and we wish you a belated Happy Birthday which we are sure it was, with your wonderful mommy and daddy making sure that their new baby was surrounded by love and joy in his new forever home! As you may know, my dad is nutso for Greys, and we just had Kelly girl at our home Tuesday for a visit most of the day and evening, she is such a fox, and quite the little chatterbox, and always the perfect lady, just like you see on the BC! It's been our pleasure to get to know you and your family in a special way. There are those friends that stand out to us as being some of the most loving and kind of all.
