I visited Lucy when she was 15 weeks old at a local Petco and fell in love with the white-capped Pi. She was a Xmas present for our family a few months later. She is only 6 months old and fits in the palm of my hand (see pics below).. Awards

Hi! My name is Lucy

I am a White-Capped Pionus from Leominster, MA.

10 years old   F

White-Capped Pionus

Yogurt dips and sunflower seeds (though, both in moderation).

Lucy "hangs" out on the cage door, and closest to the full spectrum light whenever possible.

Lucy doesn't seem to dislike much. She is about as easy going as they get.

Lucy has only been a part of the Caruso Flock for less than a week, but already shows numerous signs of being content. From beak grinding to mutual preening, I think Lucy loves how we spoil her rotten, and appears to have made this her new home.

She LOVES my terry cloth robe, and other textured clothing. She will burrow into the nook of your neck at night for warmth, but returns the favor by preening your hair. :-).

Hello from The Konawa Oklahoma Gang
Hi Lucy, Are you ever going to visit me? I want some friends too. I think that other birds in my flock have more friends than I do. I hear them chirping about it. We are just one big family circus here in the Birdy room. We have windows that look outside and windows that look into the living room. We have the Birds eye view of most of the happenings at our house and still have our private space for sleeping and staying away from company. Today I decided to surf the channel to find more friends. I am a wee little man and really admire you. Will you be my friend? v4y Lonnie

Come visit me, St. Patrick D'bird loves Ruby Sue, Lonnie, Slate and Mica, Fortune & Cotton Ball "I'm Tiki's Girl".

  Hi Lucy
We had to write you and send a vote. We too are white caps. I guess the hair stylist gene must run in the Pi family my Nigel loves to do, or more correctly undo my hair.

Come visit me, Cameron & Dexter.
