Just an update!
Well I am all grown up but I'm still messy and I still can't fly! I can jump and leap tall buildings - or cages - in single bounds, though. Probably due to my large feet, which pack a lot of spring! Yukon gets so jealous! Yukon is so hormonal right now so she keeps trying to kiss my mommy! Yuk!Come visit me, Ziggy & Yukon.

Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. I am still flying backwards!!
My tail is pretty much grown, though just a bit crooked, and my wings have grown in nicely as well...so why am I still flying BACKWARDS??? Mommy doesn't understand it either, and Yukon just laughs at me. Meany!Come visit me, Ziggy & Yukon.

I took a bath today...
...in my mommy's cupped hand. So far that is the only way I like to bathe. She lets water run off her fingers from her other hand, and I lie down and spread my wings and squish my little body against her palm and let the dripping water run over and around me. I know....I'm SOOOOOOOO spoiled, aren't I? :P When I am tired of bathing I flap and hop my way onto Mommy's shoulder and make sure she gets all wet, too. I love hearing her shriek when water gets all over her because of me. Tee hee. Then I dry off on her warm shoulder and preen myself, even though it doesn't seem to help me look less messy. At least I feel cleaner!!Come visit me, Ziggy & Yukon.

My wings are clipped, but not much, and only for my own safety because otherwise I fly in crazy directions and land in funny places like a trash can or break my pretty feathers. Mommy is going to try to catch my weird flying patterns on video (she hopes).Come visit me, Ziggy & Yukon.

Hello again Ziggy! How wonderful of your mommy to rescue you from being bullied! I bet you love her lots. How funny that you like to run more than fly! I'd love to see you fly backwards. I'm not a very good flyer sometimes...every now & then I'll get right to where I'm aiming for, but most of the time, I'll end up crashing somewhere way past where I wanted to be.
