To continue on amazons: Yes they do talk great but like they say there is NO garantee, I love him even if he did not talk. He learnt alot, but it is alot of repeating. I fouund the trick is to say words with alot of emotion and with a tone that excites him and I keep words with the appropiate action then he remembers it better.
For coming out of the cage, he does loves out yes then sometimes he begs to go in it , you it depeneds on mood. He does ok being alone in the cage when I am at work because I got him a huge cage, and I have small tv for him :) They like voices . company for him. As for other birds, I would not now cause he is older .Visually he did ok with a bird that stayed with us short time before, but I would not trust them , if you get one as a baby and start young, then yeah I am sure they get along good. Then again your birds are so small I would be afraid to have them that close together.
Amazons for me turned out to be the best. :) There is a smaller kind of amazon that I would like If I saw one, it is the white fronted amazon, Much smaller than mine and they seem so cute.Come visit me, Angel Buzzsaw nickamed by mr.timRIP Mr.Tim & Asha) & Zazoo (RIP Mr.Tim & Asha ) :(.

Gave ya a vote little guy. Your Mom is so nice! And I do not blame her for not going anywhere on vacation unless she has piece of mind for a good caretaker for you guys. My Mommy too feels that way. She wants to visit her family in Canada. My grandma and grandpa are in Canada. So mommy found a great pet sitter from a referral from the vet. She came to visit and I like her! So mommy will pay her to come over and take care of me when she goes away. She even has a web site. My mommy prefers me to stay home where I am comfortable and safer from diseases than if I went to be boarded elswhere.

Puerto Rico looks so tropical on tv, never been there. But I bet it would be a great vacation spot! I have seen the beaches of there on tv. Cool!

I got a kick out of you goin nuts on anything that is white plastic hee hee. I hate that feather duster Mommy uses on the ceiling fan, I pretend to be a fighter and makes a wierd growl and sign to want to get it but I do not want it near me. Good for you!!
