How are ya doing, we heard there was a][nother flare-up in yiur egg canal!We hope all is well with you now! Please give our love to Murphee and Meiko, and your sweet momma! Can you believe we woke up to 54 degrees this morning, we opened the doors for the first time in weeks, the cool fresh air in our in home feels great! We'll be going out after breakfast, and dad will be sawing, drilling, and power sanding, more wooden toy parts in the Toy Factory (garage), to stock up for the Winter! Our home could use a good dusting and cob web removal, my goodness (where do they all come from), but that is something that can be done in nasty outside weather! How are you feeling this morning precious, I hate that your having to take that nasty baytril stuff, I've had to take that myself a few times, it works but sure is yukky. Vet told Mom is could affect the appetite also, but sounds like your still eating pretty good. I think this is my first visit to you, you look just like Mom's first Tiel Nigel, who is now at the Rainbow Bridge, his life was cut short due to a terrible accident and Mom still gets all teary eyed when she thinks of him, he was only two when he left her. ...Christy softly lands in Tweety's cage, where her little friend is taking nourishment! Christy says oh my goodness little girl, you scared the crap out of a bunch of people this morning, and your poor mom was worried beyond belief! We all asked the Lord to look in on you, and I had already got on his good side while I was still here on earth, and I told him that we have enough new Angels for awhile, and as is the case with real believers, our Lord God spared you the very serious surgery and most likely your sweet little life! Christy kneels with Tweety and the two pray together, as Christy asks for a successful and complete recovery, and then gives her an Angelic hug, and returns to Heaven, to sit beside the Master...

The last day of May saw the TAGs take on the Tiel Terrors. The TAGs opened the game with triples by Scooter Pie and Stormy and a double by Star to take am early 2-0 lead. The Tiels would get on the scoreboard in the 2nd when Mikey hit a solo HR. in the 3rd Tiels Gene, Smokey and Kacey would combine for 1 run to tie the game at 2-2. After a 3 up 3 down inning for the TAGs, the Tiels broke the game open scoreing 8 runs. Tweety and Tobey would score when Grover hit a HR. Mr. BB, Honey and Canyon would load the bases and score when rookie Gene hit a Grand Slam HR. Dewey’s solo HR would make the score 10-2 Tiels. In the 5th, the Tags would rally and score 4 runs with hits by Smokey, Star, Pringle, Cesar and Stormy’s HR. The Tiels would add 3 to their score with Joey’s double and singles by Tweety, Tobey, Grover, Mikey and Mr. BB. TAG Bongo’s triple was the only hit for the team in the 6th while the Terrors continued with the hot bats. Buddy, Dewey and Smokey would load the bases as Kacey’s hit a Grand Slam HR into right field. Joey’s solo HR would make the score 18-6 Tiels. In the 7th, TAG Trouble hit a solo HR as the Tiels matched the run with hits by Mikey, Mr BB and Honey. 1 run was scored by the TAGs in the 8th with a double and a triple by Sammy and Bongo as the TAGs went into the 9th inning trailing 19-8. The TAGs would not go down without a fight. Scooter Pie opened with a double and scored when Pringle hit a HR. Stormy and Cesar would then hit the bases and scored when Tootles hit a HR. Bongo’s triple would follow but the Tiel defense would finally dig in to stop the charging TAGs. Final Score: Tiel Terrors 19, TAGs 13.Come visit me, Milonga de Mangita & Dewey ♥ Sassy Belle.

Well how would you like to be our shortstop this season. Jaspa hasn't gotten back with me yet and doesn't seem like she will so I will give you that position. Hello once again...
Sunny here with an update from our home. It has been a very rough week for all of us. Mom cries a lot still. She tries to cover it up but I know. I can feel her sadness and hear her heart breaking. I have also been lost without my little buddy around. I don't feel like chirping, eating or playing. I refuse to go to Comet's cage but I also look for him in there. I have been holding tight to mom. I know she is hurting just as much as I am right now. Together, we will help each other. Mom is helping me learn how to be a single bird for the first time in my thirteen year life. Mom also wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers, well wishes, blogs, emails, flowers and cards. She doesn't know what she would do without all the support she has gotten. It is hard for mom to go on Comet's page and read all the blogs from the past six days. In time, she will be able to read all of them but just not yet. She would like to thank YOU for being there at this most devastating time in our lives. Comet was not just a cockatiel, he was a legend. A real clown, mom's 'problem child', the leader of the flock and the most loving bird ever. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Grover here. Just wanted to come by and say "hi' to one of my 'Tiel friends. Having lost Comet, I'm reminded, once again, how precious each friend is. Wanted you to know that your friendship is just that to me. Tell your Grey brother he's very welcome for the one little vote I was able to share with him. You'll have to get you one of them snazzy awards one of these days. I highly recommend it.

With great sadness and many tears....
Comet is now flying high at Rainbow Bridge. Comet was put to sleep at 10:01 this morning with his family by his side. Comet put up a very brave fight but one he could not win. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes you have given him. Mom is taking a break from BC for a very days.

Good morning!
Short blog today. Snow storm here delayed our trip to the vet for one day 8+ inches of snow and the roads are horrible! Comet goes in on Tuesday at 9:20. The little guy isn't doing well at all. His time is near. Thanks for the prayers. It brings us much comfort in knowing he is loved so much.
