Dear Tiffany ~
Kelly here to apologize deeply for missing the opportunity to mention Aries in the Memorial Column on The Calendar Page. On the 14th, the day you braved to think about the dates of your sweet birds' passing, I began a three day hosting of some BC friends who traveled five hours to come visit me and my flock. For the next three days there was little to no time for computer activities other than to post the name of the next Bird of the Day hopeful. ARIES should've been highlighted in the Featured Birds column on Saturday but I had not yet made it to your note in the catching-up process. I'm so very sorry. If I might, I'd like to mention his passing even though it's now after the anniversary of his death. Think about it and let me know your thoughts. The Memorial Column is a new and recent feature of The Calendar Page and the BC birds are just getting used to responding to these date of passing anniversaries, but all know how it feels to lose a flockmate. All know how nice it feels to have a fallen flockmate remembered. If you'll allow, we'd like to share in the memory of Aries, even if it's several days after the date.

In Honor of Aries
Kelly here. As a way to commemorate the passing of Aries, a special section is being prepared as a memorial to the bird friends we've lost here on the BC with a listing of their date of passing lest that sad day not be forgotten.
With permission, I'd like to add Aries' name and the date of his death as well as those of his flock who have also flown over the Rainbow Bridge.

Hi to all my BBFF's. Thank you all very very much for your support! I am very honored to be your BOTD. But most of all to know I had so many birdies support me. I'm truly grateful. The castle is beautiful and the service is great. And all the food and drinks are fabulous! They even made me a sweet potato pie with pecans on top. My favorite. But they didn't spoil me near as much as all of you have. I guess the pic is a good one of me and how eggcited I am. But again,I'm in your debt for all your kind votes and comments. Thanks for stopping over and leaving your codolences for the loss of Sassy Belle. Also for Stopping over at her page. Know once her mom gets the internet back up and she will appreciate all the support. Couldn't have better friends. I am doing good. Hit me and dad both hard when we heard about her passing but we are doing fine. She will be missed so very much. Had the best of times with her always cherished and treasured. She will always live in my heart and thoughts. Today would have been mine and her 5 month anniversary of being together. Just so hard. But I will manage. Take some time but I will be OK.
